Happy Thanksgiving ...
From the CAT
I was asked what I like about Thanksgiving
from the point of view of a cat...
I calmly licked my whiskers
as I contemplated that...
The first thing that leaped to my mind
upon some small reflection,
was of course the grand turkey feast
(it is roasted to perfection!)
But, more than that occurred to me,
as I continued to peruse.
It's also the way eating that turkey
causes me to spend the rest of the day a'snooze.
But, before I settle in to dream
my afternoon away,
I really must hasten to add...

Is your cat is afraid of car rides? Consider going for a few short rides around the block culminating in a tasty food reward. Gradually lengthen the trips making sure to praise your cat for calm behavior and offering treats at the end.
