If you don't want to be greeted with paws and swinging tails,

Is your dog dragging his rear end along the ground? This could be a sign that his anal gland are full and need emptying. The anal glands are sacs on either side of the rectum that periodically fill up with malodorous fluid. See your veterinarian to have the glands expressed. If left unattended, the glands may develop a painful infection.
